Model Preview
This page shows a preview of the First Preference model for the 2026 Victorian state election. The model is likely to undergo adjustments once backtesting is complete, with polling error estimates becoming based on state rather than federal elections, the addition of well-calibrated seat win probability estimates, and modelling of the true sets of contesting candidates. The final model will be released once candidate nominations have been finalised.
